Blue Jean's sire is Ben, the 2002 Irish National Nursery Champion, who bites clean on the nose and low on the heels of cattle, yet stays off sheep and balances nicely.

Kallie, BlueJean's dam, is very stylish, possesses great balance and feel for the stock. Her quick square flanks and determination make her fun to trial.

Blue Jean inherited many of her dam's physical characteristics along with lots of power from both parents. She also inherited a feel for stock, balances very well, and like her littermate, Speedy, she is extremely fast.
