Buster works both Cattle and Sheep. Some of his awards include:

• 2009 West Texas Stock Dog Association (WTSDA) "Open Ranch Sheep Dog of the Year"
• 2009 Permian Basin Fair "Iron Dog"
• 2009 National Cattle Dog Finals Qualifier
  
• 2007 WTSDA "Pro-Novice Dog of the Year"
• 2007 Permian Basin Reserve Iron Dog
• 2007 WTSDA "Nursery Sheep Dog of the Year."
• 5th Place in 2007 Nursery National Cattle Dog Finals. Buster hurt his eye a few weeks prior to the finals. We are very proud of his performance.
• 2006 WTSDA “Nursery Cattle Dog of the Year”
• 6th Place in the 2006 National Cattle Dog Finals

Buster came to me for training in June 2005.  He was 11 months old.  I liked what I saw and bought him.  By October, he had won his first Nursery Class trial. 

The next four months he continued winning and qualified for the 2006 National Cattle Dog Finals.  He was the youngest dog at the finals (under two years old), and placed 6th!. More on Buster
